As the sun rose over Sector 7, the last fleeting moments they got to share were bleeding out, but to hell with it...they were going to make every moment count.

O.K., Sector 7 was one of the oldest sections of the colony, but this is where they met, and where they plan to meet in 18 months when he comes home...if he comes home.

These deployments aren't the best relationship builders. Going Off World had it's own problems, but this time was different. There was something that was nagging them in the back of their minds. Neither of them could understand it or figure out what it was, but it was there and it scared them both.

One last look, one last kiss. One last moment to feel each other, hold each other and whisper a quiet prayer that the time will pass quickly, and that he doesn't come home early.
