Awesome image!
It has superb impact and technique – especially the level of detail and sharpness of the bricks and broken masonry. And the vision to create and execute such a strong image.
The many different elements of the image work together really well. The bricks look as if they really have flattened the squad car. The only thing I didn’t like is the mushrooms at bottom right.

I haven’t scored it so high for originality because the post-apocalyptic theme is not exactly new – but this is a small quibble – I could really enjoy a sequence of images like this one. It’s a great inspiration to create more complex renders myself.

Hey I'm a fan. A lot of work went into this and it's clear. However the point of a critique is to help us get better right?

So my only criticism is that it looks like a toy model.

What seems to be lacking is any type of ambience in the air or volumetric feel of the atmospherics at play. With this lighting (really good by-the-way) I feel like the sunlight cutting through the blue ambient light should give us some dust in the air or at least the ray itself due to how stark the contrast is between shaded blue zones and sunlit areas.

That alone would lend weight to the whole thing and make it "feel" more real. Hell toss in a smidge of DOF in the background and only just kissing the foreground and the entire thing would be perfect.

Cheers on a great start to a fantastic image.

This really excellent - came across while trying to set up a similar scene of my own in Poser.  The rubble, especially the concrete pillars, really look good (is that a Stonemason model?) - it's the lighting I think which really makes thwe whole picture pop.
